Course summary

EA Technology's Level 3 qualification has been specifically developed for the electricity supply industry in association with Industry employers and is available to cohorts as a structured programme.

This qualification can serve as the knowledge component of the Advanced Apprenticeship framework.

It allows candidates to develop the knowledge required for employment and/or career progression in distribution and transmission.

Who is this course for?

This unique qualification is specifically aimed at developing the fundamental knowledge required for a career in the electricity supply industry. It will be of interest to experienced industry personnel wishing to gain a formal qualification in electrical power engineering, and to non-technical staff wishing to progress into technical roles.

It will also be of benefit to career changers with a good level of maths/science (GCSE Grade C or above) and school leavers with GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) or above in mathematics, engineering or physics.
