Effective project management is essential to deliver electrical projects on time, on budget and to specification. This course is designed to equip you with the understanding, tools and techniques you need to manage a range of electrical projects.
You will be introduced to the principles of project management through a selection of case study examples ranging from small HV and LV projects to larger 132/33/11kV and 400/275kV projects to reinforce the main learning points.
Central to the course is a full-scale project management exercise in which you will create and deliver an electrical engineering project in a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) company. This will give you the opportunity to devise and develop project management strategies and test them out in a ‘risk free’ environment, discussing your issues and experiences with other delegates and the course speakers.
