EAL Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for the Power Industry

Course summary

EA Technology is now able to offer this Level 3 qualification which has been specifically developed for the electricity supply industry. It can be taught as a structured programme, a distance learning programme or as a blended option.

This qualification was developed in association with industry employers and can serve as the knowledge component of the Advanced Apprenticeship framework.

It allows candidates to develop the knowledge required for employment and/or career progression in distribution and transmission.

Who is this course for?

This unique qualification is specifically aimed at developing the fundamental knowledge required for a career in the electricity supply industry. It will be of interest to experienced industry personnel wishing to gain a formal qualification in electrical power engineering, and to non-technical staff wishing to progress into technical roles.

It will also be of benefit to career changers with a good level of maths/science (GCSE Grade C or above) and school leavers with GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) or above in mathematics, engineering or physics.
